Base Material Selection-Cold Rolled Steel Plate
The base material of steel filing cabinets is generally cold-rolled steel plate , and its thickness directly affects the load-bearing capacity and durability.
- Basic standard : bare plate thickness ≥ 0.6mm (thickness increases by 0.1-0.2mm after spraying), below this standard, it is easy to deform
- Extreme scenarios : Typhoon areas (such as the Philippines) require 0.8mm thickened steel plates, with a load-bearing capacity of up to 80kg/layer
- Tips to prevent false labeling : Ask suppliers to provide bare board thickness and thickness after spraying
Processing – Electrostatic Powder Coating
Working principle : The powder particles are charged by a high-voltage electrostatic field, adsorbed to the cabinet surface, and then cured at high temperature to form a coating.

Core Processing: Eight Processes from Steel Plate to Steel Cabinet
steel cabinets needs to go through five stages: “cutting-forming-welding-surface treatment-assembly”, including 8 key processes:
- Cutting: Shearing machine cuts cold-rolled steel plate to designed size (error ≤ 0.5mm);
- Stamping: reserve corners, lock holes, slide rails and other structures;
- Bending: The bending machine completes the internal and external folding (angle error <1°);
- Welding: Laser seamless welding technology improves the moisture resistance of the joints (traditional spot welding is prone to water seepage);
- Electrostatic spraying: Environmentally friendly powder coating is cured at 200℃ to form a 0.1mm coating;
- Accessory installation: The error of the three-level silent slide rail is ≤0.2mm, and the C-level lock core has better anti-theft performance;
- Quality inspection: diagonal deviation ≤ 2mm, drawer opened and closed 5000 times without jamming;
- Packaging: Pearl cotton + corrugated paper for anti-collision, additional moisture-proof film is required for sea transportation
